Our client is seeking a highly analytical Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their expanding team in **Indore, Madhya Pradesh, IN**. This critical role involves conducting in-depth market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to identify and evaluate lucrative real estate investment opportunities. You will be responsible for assessing property valuations, analyzing market trends, and developing comprehensive investment proposals for diverse asset classes, including residential, commercial, and retail properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background, exceptional financial modeling skills, and a deep understanding of the real estate market dynamics. You will work closely with the acquisitions team, providing data-driven insights to support strategic investment decisions. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders. Responsibilities include: • Performing comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging real estate investment trends and opportunities. • Developing detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, LBO modeling, and pro forma statements. • Conducting property-level financial analysis and valuation for potential acquisitions. • Assessing investment risks and return profiles, preparing detailed reports and recommendations. • Performing due diligence on potential investment properties, including physical inspections and review of legal/financial documents. • Monitoring existing investments, tracking performance against projections, and recommending asset management strategies. • Collaborating with internal teams (acquisitions, development, legal) and external parties (brokers, appraisers, consultants). • Preparing investment committee memos and presentations for senior management. • Staying updated on macroeconomic factors, regulatory changes, and capital markets affecting the real estate industry. • Contributing to the development and refinement of investment strategies and criteria. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field; MBA or Master's in Finance preferred. • 5+ years of experience in real estate investment analysis, financial modeling, or corporate finance, with a focus on real estate. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis. • Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and investment principles. • Experience with real estate market data providers (e.g., CoStar, REIS). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. • Familiarity with real estate legal documentation and transaction processes is a plus. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
