Our client is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their team in **Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala**. This role is critical for evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities, conducting market research, and providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of the real estate market, and exceptional analytical and modeling skills. This is an on-site position requiring close collaboration with investment teams and property managers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling for potential real estate acquisitions, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, sensitivity analysis, and pro forma development. Perform comprehensive market research to assess real estate market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscapes. Evaluate property valuations, lease abstracts, and financial statements of target assets. Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for senior management and investment committees. Identify and analyze risks and opportunities associated with potential real estate investments. Monitor the performance of existing investments and provide ongoing analysis and reporting. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., brokers, appraisers, legal counsel) to gather data and facilitate due diligence. Stay abreast of changes in real estate regulations, tax laws, and market best practices. Assist in the development and refinement of investment strategies and asset management plans. Maintain and update databases of market data, property information, and investment performance metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree (MBA, MS in Finance/Real Estate) is highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a focus on real estate. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques using Excel. Experience with real estate market data providers (e.g., CoStar, REIS) is a plus. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong understanding of real estate markets, property types, and investment structures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. This role is essential for driving profitable real estate investments in the region.
