Hiring for Senior Resident Engineer | Long Term Contract | onsite Job Title: Senior Resident Engineer Duration: Long Term Contract Location: Bangalore, India (onsite) Job Description: Tech Skills: • Cohesity Data Protect Architectural and Operational Expertise. • Global Environment w/ PBs of Data Being Protected. • Experience with Cohesity Data Protect, covering the following workloads. • Physical Windows + Cristie. • Backup for Virtual - AHV (incl. app-consistent use cases). • Backup for Virtual - vSphere. • Physical SQL (incl AHV). • VMware SQL. • SAP on Oracle. • SAP on HANA. • PostgreSQL. • GPFS. • DB Dumps to Views. • PowerShell / Python Scripting for Automation, Reporting, Management. • Experience with Cyber Resiliency Concepts, Best Practices etc. • Experience with Cyber Vaulting Concepts and Architectures (Cohesity Fort Knox On Prem is a future Project). • Experience with Cyber Recovery Automation i.e. Recovery Agent or similar. Business Skills: • Experience working in Risk Adverse IT Environment. • Prior Pharma IT Experience a Plus. • Strong Technical Writing and Communications Skills. • Customer is very detail oriented and maintains their operational and architectural documentations meticulously. • Customer often requires detailed technical solution summaries, RCAs, SOP and similar technical documentation. • Customer Projects, any related experience supporting such projects could be beneficial. • Upcoming Migrations from VMware to AHV (highest priority project). • Upcoming Migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
