About the job

Key Responsibilities: Revenue Accounting: • Oversee end-to-end revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP standards. • Manage revenue recognition for multiple streams (subscription, services, product sales) in line with contractual terms. • Review and validate journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. • Ensure accurate reporting of deferred revenue, accruals, and adjustments. • Collaborate with auditors for statutory and internal audits related to revenue. Revenue Management: • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize profitability. • Monitor pricing models, discount structures, and contract terms to ensure revenue integrity. • Analyze revenue trends and provide insights for forecasting and budgeting. • Partner with sales, finance, and operations teams to align revenue goals with business objectives. • Drive automation and process improvements in revenue management systems. Skills & Competencies: • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards (Ind AS 115 / ASC 606). • Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and revenue management tools. • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to lead a team and manage cross-functional projects. Qualifications: • CA / CPA / Masters Finance preferred. • 4+ years in a leadership role. • Exposure to technology, BFSI, or service-based industries is an advantage.
