Senior SEO & AI Growth Manager (Marketing Operations Lead) Independent Contractor | Remote (India) Monthly Retainer | 3-Month Initial Term (Renewable) Compensation: ₹110,000 – ₹150,000 per month (Based on proven legal SEO performance) About the Engagement We are a U.S.-based immigration law firm with a 2026 revenue target of $1.5M. This role exists to drive predictable, high-intent organic-qualified leads in a high-stakes YMYL category. As search evolves toward AI-generated answers, we are seeking a performance-driven SEO & AI Growth Manager who can: Build authority in traditional search Structure content for AI answer engines (Google AI Overviews, Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity) Operate as the firm’s Marketing Operations Lead This is an execution-focused leadership role tied directly to measurable lead generation. Core Responsibilities Organic Growth & AI Search Optimization Build topical authority clusters around removal defense, BIA appeals, asylum, bond, and family immigration. Implement structured, answer-first content architecture. Optimize pages for featured snippets and AI summarization. Ensure advanced Schema implementation (LegalService, Attorney, FAQPage, Article, Review, Breadcrumb). Strengthen AI-answer visibility where measurable. Local SEO & Geo Authority Optimize and manage Google Business Profile. Develop and scale geo pages (Seattle, Alexandria, Fairfax, etc.). Strengthen local citation consistency. Improve Map Pack visibility for high-intent keywords. Technical & Authority Governance Conduct monthly technical audits. Maintain structured internal linking architecture. Coordinate directly with WordPress developer for implementation. Monitor Core Web Vitals and indexing health. Content & E-E-A-T Oversight Develop 4–6 SEO briefs monthly. Ensure embedded video + FAQ schema in every article. Strengthen expertise signals (author bios, internal linking, case references). Optimize content for both human readers and AI indexing. Marketing Operations Leadership Deliver weekly KPI report before Monday leadership meeting. Own organic lead tracking and source attribution. Enforce publishing cadence. Coordinate with Video Editor and WordPress Developer. Monitor LSA performance (if active). Monthly Deliverables 4–6 SEO briefs Optimization of 4–8 existing pages 1 technical audit 3–5 quality backlinks KPI performance report Implementation checklist assigned to WP developer Required Experience 4+ years SEO experience (U.S. legal or skilled services preferred) Demonstrated success ranking competitive U.S. keywords Experience with YMYL content Strong structured data expertise Advanced proficiency in Ahrefs/SEMrush, GSC, GA4 Excellent written English How Success Will Be Measured Primary: Sustained growth in organic-qualified leads Increase in consult bookings from organic traffic Secondary: Improvement in rankings for priority local terms Growth in AI-answer visibility (where measurable) Improvement in organic traffic quality and conversions
