About Engage Digital Partners Engage are a full-service sports marketing agency who, since 2012, have helped ambitious governing bodies, sports teams and sponsors become future fit. Operating in the UK, India, Australia and the US, we offer round the clock delivery to sports brands including the International Cricket Council (ICC), Real Madrid, Godolphin, New Zealand Rugby and Formula 1. About the Role We’re looking for experienced Video Editors who brings strong creative thinking, a love for cricket, and the ability to turn ideas into visually striking content. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys ownership of projects and thrives in a fast-paced environment where sports moments’ drive quick, high-quality short and long form output. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute creative and engaging social media content ideas for various platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). • Write high-quality articles, features, and blog posts about cricket, ensuring they are informative, entertaining, and engaging for a global audience. • Stay up-to-date with the latest cricket matches, news, trends, and events across all formats and genders. • Ideate and produce content quickly and efficiently, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality. • Use basic phone photography and videography skills to capture and edit content for social media. • Monitor social media trends, analytics, and best practices to optimize content performance. • Engage with the cricket community across various social media platforms to foster a strong connection with cricket fans globally. Qualifications & Skills • A deep passion for and knowledge of global cricket, including men’s, women’s, and all formats (T20, ODI, Test). • Exceptional writing skills with a strong command of the English language. • Creative, witty, and possess the ability to generate original and engaging content ideas. • Basic skills in shooting and editing content on a smartphone. • Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing situations. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to cover international cricket events. • Min 3 years of previous experience in sports writing, journalism, or social media content creation and platform management is a must. • Basic Photoshop & premier Pro skills are also an advantage. Nice to Have • Prior experience managing cricket or sports-focused social media accounts, including teams, leagues, players, or sports brands. • Basic Photoshop & premier Pro skills are also an advantage. • Experience planning and executing match-day content, live coverage, and real-time engagement.
