Job Overview: We are looking for a Software Developer with strong Python and Django expertise to join our development team at Gamyam. This role requires hands-on coding, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivering robust web applications while upholding best practices in software development. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using Python. • Take ownership of modules/features from design through deployment. • Collaborate with cross functional team to design, develop and implement new features. • Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code by following industry best practices. • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. • Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve code quality. • Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications to ensure high performance and reliability. • Work with CI/CD processes and deployment workflows. • Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. Technical Skills: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. • Strong experience with any Python-based web frameworks (e.g.., Django, Flask , Fast API or others). • Solid understanding of REST API design principles. • Good knowledge of relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL. • Experience with version control systems (Git). • Basic understanding of application security best practices. Good to Have: • Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Exposure to Docker or other containerization technologies. • Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue, etc.). • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
