We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Singularity Search Platform Team in Bangalore. We have a great skill set in JAVA, Spring boot, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Angular, NodeJS and AWS related technologies a ... nd we would love to speak with you if you have skills in JAVA, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and AWS.  About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments • 2+ years of professional experience in software development, primarily focused on backend systems. • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust solutions. • Hands-on expertise in Java, including Spring Boot and related frameworks. • Practical experience in Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and basic AWS functionalities. • Proficient in Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA, OOD, OOP) principles. • Experience across software development lifecycle—from design and coding to testing and deployment. • Self-driven and proactive, with excellent collaboration skills. • Driven by a passion for technology and committed to continuous learning, with a focus on modern frameworks and best practices. It would be great if you also have • Java 17+ • Microservices architecture, JPA • Redis • Testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito • AWS basics (S3, SQS, EC2, ECS, OpenSearch) – nice to have • Node JS – nice to have What will you be doing in this role? • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features within project timelines. • Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing to performance and reliability improvements. • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainability and security. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and introducing innovative solutions. Product you will be developing You will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing the Singularity Search APIs. Your work will involve technical upgrades, performance optimization, and exploring AI-driven proof of concepts (POCs) to bring innovation into the product.  About the Team    Singularity Search team is spread across India and brings strong technical and analytical skills. We work with technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and AWS services to deliver world-class products and innovative solutions in Lifesciences & Healthcare.
