Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (SSE – .NET 8 or 10 ) Experience: 5–10 Years Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Zywave – India Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in modern .NET development, cloud-native architectures on AWS, and scalable backend systems. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and modern .NET (8/10). • Build and optimize backend services and APIs following best engineering practices. • Work with AWS cloud services to develop, deploy, and support cloud-native applications. • Design and manage data models using SQL Server and NoSQL databases. • Write and optimize stored procedures, queries, and database performance. • Implement and manage caching mechanisms such as Redis to improve application performance. • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes. • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall team technical excellence. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in software development. • Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and web application development. • Experience working with latest .NET versions (preferably .NET 8 or .NET 10). • Solid experience with AWS (compute, storage, and related services). • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedures and performance tuning. • Experience with NoSQL databases (Document DB- Mongo, Dynamo) • Hands-on experience with Redis or other caching mechanisms. • Awareness and working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Good to Have • Experience with microservices architecture. • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Experience working in SaaS or product-based organizations. • Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and security best practices.
