Senior Specialist, Bonded Warehouse

The Senior Specialist, Bonded Warehouse will be responsible for the complete Bonded Warehouse function under the International Supply Chain business of FedEx Logistics. The position will be responsible for setting up bonded warehouses across India from the initial stage. PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Define and execute business strategy for bonded warehousing. • Drive financial performance, managing budgets, revenue targets, cost controls, and profitability strategies. • Ensure full compliance with Indian Customs norms. • Maintain detailed records of all bonded goods, carriers, and clearance documentation. • Coordinate audits and inspections with Customs authorities. • Oversee end-to-end bonded warehouse operations. • Implement robust SOPs and ensure compliance. • Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, turnaround time, duty deferment, and space utilization. • Collaborate with freight forwarders. • Develop pricing strategies, service offerings, and marketing plans. JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE: • Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business. • 10-15 years of experience in Bonded warehouse operations. • Strong understanding of supply chain processes. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. • Bonded warehouse experience is desired.
