Key responsibilities include: - Collecting, cleaning, and processing large datasets related to player performance, team strategies, and game outcomes; - Developing and applying statistical models to analyze performance metrics and predict future trends; - Creating compelling visualizations and reports to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely; - Collaborating with coaches and sports scientists to interpret data and develop actionable strategies; - Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to specific sports; - Staying abreast of the latest advancements in sports analytics, data science, and relevant technologies; - Contributing to the development of analytical tools and platforms; - Conducting research into opponent strengths and weaknesses; - Supporting talent identification and player recruitment processes.
