The Senior Supervisor, HR Shared Services is responsible for supervising administrative tasks, managing local teams of coordinators and assistants, and executing plans for day-to-day management of resources and timelines. The role oversees the administration of human resources functions, encompassing HRIS, compensation, benefits, staffing, and compliance with legal regulations, in a timely manner. The role applies research, information gathering, analytical and interpretation skills to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity to foster a compliant and ethical work environment. The role also contributes to the enhancement of HR processes and the successful execution of special projects, all while maintaining accurate employee information in the HR database. Education: • Bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience. Experience: • 15+ years in HR Statutory Compliance, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory role. Statutory & Benefit Administration • Payroll Compliances: Provide end-to-end oversight for Provident Fund (PF), ESI, Gratuity, NPS, and Superannuation. • Establishment Compliances: Manage Pan-India requirements including Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), CLRA (Contract Labour), Shops & Establishment (S&E), and Trade Licenses. • Pan-India Scope: Ensure complete compliance across all various states where Ford has a presence, navigating the unique local nuances of each region. 2. Operational & Resource Management • Team Supervision: Manage a team of 5–6 members, providing daily guidance and ensuring high engagement and performance. • Resource Planning: Execute plans for day-to-day management of resources, ensuring the team is correctly staffed and trained to handle peak periods (e.g., year-end filings, renewals etc). • Timeline Management: Oversee the compliance calendar for all India facilities, ensuring every deadline—from monthly PF deposits to annual trade license renewals—is met with 100% accuracy. • Ensures accurate and confidential maintenance of HR records, recruitment data, personnel files, and compliance-related documents, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. Ensures support for HR processes and practices to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. • Collaborates with the HR technology team to manage HR systems, resolve system-related issues, and contribute to system upgrades and implementations. 3. Strategic Leadership & Process Transformation • Compliance Strategy: Develop and implement a long-term roadmap for statutory compliance that anticipates changes in Indian Labor Codes. • Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to automate manual administrative tasks and digitize compliance records to reduce 'human-error' risk. • Risk Mitigation: Conduct proactive 'gap analysis' across different states to identify potential compliance risks before they become issues. • Vendor Strategy: Evaluate and optimize the statutory vendor ecosystem, ensuring Ford is getting the best value and highest level of service. • Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert for HR leadership, providing insights on how statutory changes will impact Ford’s cost-to-company (CTC) and operational footprint. • Identifies opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation, and oversees HR Shared Services support projects. • Oversees generation of a variety of HR reports, analyzes, formats, and presents data as required using a variety of HR and MS tools and systems. Ensures maintenance of employee physical and electronic files and records to ensure legal compliance. • Takes decisions that have a direct impact on work unit operations. Serves as a project lead, overseeing continuous improvement projects for the improvement of daily administrative operations from conception to completion, utilizing comprehensive knowledge of company processes and project management principles.
