Job description Senior Technical Product Manager (P5) VSP 360 – Data Protection & Orchestration The Team The VSP 360 team is building Hitachi Vantara’s next-generation hybrid cloud control plane for enterprise storage environments. VSP 360 unifies observability, orchestration, and intelligent data services to simplify operations across block, file, object, and software-defined storage platforms. Our mission is to deliver a scalable, policy-driven platform that enables enterprises to manage performance, availability, and data resilience across hybrid environments. The team collaborates closely with engineering, UX, architecture, field teams, and strategic customers to deliver integrated capabilities that modernize storage operations and enable SLA-driven infrastructure outcomes. The Role As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Protection and Orchestration within VSP 360, you will lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise-grade data protection and workflow automation capabilities across hybrid storage environments. This role owns the architecture and roadmap for policy-based protection services including snapshots, clones, replication, and disaster recovery orchestration. You will define how these capabilities are delivered through workflow-driven automation that simplifies operational complexity and enables consistent recovery outcomes across block, file, object, and SDS platforms. What You’ll Bring • 10–12+ years of Product Management experience in storage, data protection, infrastructure platforms, or cloud management software • Deep expertise in: • Snapshot, clone, and copy data management technologies • Synchronous and asynchronous replication architectures • Disaster recovery and cyber-resilient recovery patterns Your work will help customers improve RTO/RPO outcomes, minimize operational overhead, and unify protection workflows within a modern hybrid infrastructure control plane.
