Key Responsibilities: You’ll Get to... Leadership & Mentorship• Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a world-class team of Technical Program Managers. Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth• Influence and Communication: Communicate complex technical information and program status clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, from individual contributors to executive leadership. Influence decision-making at all levels. Program & Portfolio Management• Strategic Program Leadership: Oversee Engineering planning and reviews, technical planning, and execution of multiple complex programs across various product domains. Ensure alignment with overall company objectives and product strategy• Resource Planning: Collaborate with Engineering and Product leadership to forecast and allocate resources effectively across various initiatives. Assist, during our planning processes, in identifying Engineering resource capacities and constraints, helping to ensure appropriate estimated funding for our planned initiatives, and communication of notable gaps• Risk Management and Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and organizational risks across programs. Develop contingency plans and drive resolution of critical issues. Business Operations & Operational Excellence• Business Operations: Own the budget and headcount processes for Mx India’s Product and Engineering organizations. Lead special projects that cut across functions and evolve quarter to quarter• Operational Excellence: Define, implement, and optimize scalable program management processes, program KPIs, and best practices. Drive continuous improvement in program execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Cross-Functional Partnership & Facilitation• Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a central point of contact and trusted partner for Product, Data Science, Design, partner Engineering orgs, and other global stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making• Facilitation: Build alignment and trust across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and other teams through exceptional facilitation, clear documentation, and disciplined follow-through• Technical Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of software development lifecycles, architectural concepts, and technical dependencies to effectively guide and support our TPMs and engineering teams. You’ll do it using you• Education: A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline) Technical Program Management Experience: 10+ years of total experience in technical program management• Leadership Experience: At least 4 years in a leadership role managing and mentoring other Technical Program Managers (TPMs)• Execution Track Record: Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale, complex technical programs in a fast-paced product engineering environment • Team Building: Demonstrated experience building, growing, and leading high-performing technical program management teams• Cross-Functional Acumen: Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority• Technical Foundation: Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex architectural concepts and engineering challenges. Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills• Mindset: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
