Senior/Lead Data Analyst
About the job
As a Senior/Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for: - Collecting, processing, and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. - Working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams to define data requirements. - Performing data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability. - Supporting the design of data models and contributing to building analytical frameworks. - Generating ad-hoc analyses and presenting findings to business and technical audiences. - Collaborating with teams to support data-driven decision-making and performance tracking. - Documenting data sources, logic, and methodologies to maintain transparency and consistency. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst (preferably in BFSI or FinTech domain). - Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. - Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools. - Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and familiarity with relational databases. - Hands-on experience with Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, Pivot tables). - Exposure to Python/R for data analysis and automation (nice to have). - Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
