Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Shopify Front-End & Performance Engineer who can translate CRO ideas into high-quality on-site execution without compromising site speed or user experience. You will work closely with CRO strategists and analytics engineers to implement UX changes, experiments, and optimizations—ensuring that every change is technically sound, performance-first, and mobile-ready. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in execution quality and understands that speed, stability, and usability directly impact revenue. Key Responsibilities• Customize and extend Shopify themes using:• Liquid• Online Store 2.0 architecture (JSON templates, sections, blocks)• Implement CRO-driven changes including:• PDP enhancements and content structure updates• Cart and mini-cart logic improvements• Offer presentation and tiered discount UX• Optimize site speed and Core Web Vitals, with a strong focus on mobile performance• Ensure mobile-first execution across all changes and experiments• Conduct thorough QA across browsers and devices before and after releases• Collaborate with CRO and analytics teams to support experimentation and permanent rollouts of winning variantsYou’ll Excel in This Role If You:• Have strong hands-on experience with Shopify theme architecture• Are proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript• Understand the trade-offs between design, performance, and usability• Take a performance-first approach (speed and stability over cosmetic complexity)• Are comfortable working in a collaborative CRO setup with strategists and analysts• Care deeply about clean execution and low-risk releases Tools & Technologies You’ll Use• Shopify (Online Store 2.0)• Liquid• HTML / CSS / JavaScript• Chrome DevTools• Performance auditing tools (Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, etc.)• A/B testing platforms (as part of CRO execution) Why Join BrandLoom• Work on high-impact CRO and Shopify optimization projects• Be part of a team that values execution quality as much as strategy• Reduce dependency on client dev teams by owning delivery end-to-end• Collaborate with senior strategists and analytics specialists• Flexible working environment with opportunities to grow into a senior engineering or CRO-focused role.
