Hey Jobseekers, Position: Social Media Manager (Government/Ministry projects) - Advertising Agency Location: Delhi Onsite Experience: 6–8 years (Advertising / INS Accredited Agency preferred) Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Social Media Manager to lead digital strategy, drive impactful campaigns, and manage high-value clients, including government and PSU accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and deep agency. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing social media for government, PSU/ Ministries, or large-scale campaigns within an advertising agency environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end social media strategy for multiple brands and large-scale campaigns. • Oversee content planning, execution, and optimization across platforms • Manage and mentor a team of social media executives, content writers, video editors and designers. • Drive campaign ideation aligned with brand objectives and client expectations. • Liaise directly with clients, including government/PSU stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and approvals • Analyze performance metrics and present insights/reports to clients and leadership • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, media, strategy) for integrated campaigns. Required Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of experience in social media management within an advertising agency preferably working with Ministries/PSU Govt Clients • Proven experience managing large accounts and leading teams • Strong understanding of analytics, social media tools, and digital trends • Excellent client servicing and stakeholder management skills • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and tight deadlines • Hands-on experience working with government clients/PSU/ Ministries is mandatory. • Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. • Experience handling large-scale campaigns or public sector accounts. • Familiarity with campaign workflows, approvals, and reporting structures.
