Job Title: Software Development Engineer I – Django Backend Developer Experience: 2+ Year Location: Hyderabad - Work From Office Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Django Backend Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable REST APIs, ORM, and strong backend fundamentals. The ideal candidate must have clear understanding of OOPS concepts and should be comfortable working with version controltools like Git in a collaborative development environment. Roles & Responsibilities: ● Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Django / Django REST Framework ● Design and implement REST APIs with focus on performance, scalability, and security ● Work extensively with Django ORM for efficient database operations and modeling ● Develop reusable, well-structured, and secure server-side components ● Integrate external APIs, third-party services, and internal microservices ● Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization in development and production environments ● Write testable code and contribute to unit/integration testing strategies ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software features on time ● Maintain proper code documentation and adhere to best coding practices ● Use Git effectively for version control, branching, and pull request processes Requirements: ● 1+ year of hands-on experience with Django / Django REST Framework ● Strong foundation in Python and Object-Oriented Programming ● Proficient in working with Django Models, ORM, PostgreSQL/MySQL databases ● Experience with Serialization, authentication, and role-based access control ● Understanding of REST architecture, request/response cycle, and API standards ● Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative workflows (branching, merging, code review) ● Good problem-solving skills, debugging abilities, and communication skills Good to Have: ● Exposure to Docker, cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP), or CI/CD pipelines ● Knowledge of Celery/Redis for asynchronous tasks ● Basic understanding of frontend technologies (ReactJs/NextJs)
