About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team: ETF & Benchmarking Solutions (EBS) serves as a comprehensive global product for the aggregation, validation, and distribution of multi-asset class indices and ETFs. It leverages a worldwide network of equity and fixed income index providers, exchanges, ETF issuers, and custodians. The team, located in India, Romania, and the UK, is currently focused on migrating the platform to a cloud-native solution to enhance scalability and efficiency. The Impact: Scalability and Performance: Your role will be key in redesigning the platform for cloud-native architecture, improving scalability and optimizing performance to handle increased data loads. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using Java based stack. • Migrate legacy components to modern cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. • Implement and manage AWS cloud technologies, focusing on commonly used services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. • Take ownership of projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives. • Work as part of an agile team to identify and deliver solutions to prioritized requirements. • Must demonstrate strong expertise in system design, architectural patterns, and building efficient, scalable systems. What We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. • 6 to 10 years of experience in software development with hands on experience on Core Java. • Hands on experience and knowledge on AWS (S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, RDS, ECS, Others). • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
