Function : Software Engineering - Backend Development Java Hibernate J2EE Spring This role is essential for product development. The role is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient development of applications and quality deliverables. Requirements In this senior position, you'll design, code and test software. You will develop transactional application modules (JSP, EJB, etc.), applying standards for programming, naming, security and performance. You provide proper code documentation and implement configuration changes to packaged software applications to meet business requirements. Additionally, you document and assist in defining requirements, creating documents to ensure the applications meet their expectations. You maintain and repair applications to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional: The developer is responsible for a robust and efficient implementation. • Participates in and leads software design meetings and analyses user needs to determine technical requirements. • Collaborates with team members and across groups to prepare technical specifications. • Designs and develops high-quality code. • Tests, debugs, analyses, and fixes application problems/issues. • Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion. • Follows the software development lifecycle process. • Suggests and implements techniques for software or development process improvements. • Participates in code reviews in accordance with program specifications and coding standards, practices and conventions, new designs, changes, and enhancements. • Provides direction to less skilled employees. • May design and implement training plans. • Interacts with internal and/or external stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems. • Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools. Requirements • Must have a strong working knowledge of developing, designing, and implementing large-scale enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies. • Min 3-5 years of IT experience as a Software Engineer or Developer. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. • Working knowledge of source tools (Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Artifactory) master of major programming language (Java), Front end: HTML/CSS, java script, angular, react, responsive design, Back end: Java, spring framework, RESTful APIs, DB: SQL and NoSQL, Version Control: GIT, DevOps Security: authentication and authorization, OWASP. Interest in Front-end languages and frameworks (JavaScript / Angular or React). • Must have hands-on experience with Angular or above. • Good experience with Spring Boot, API, and JPA. • Understanding of AngularJS is good to have. • Experience with databases and ORM frameworks (eg, Hibernate) • Work with JBoss EAP and Oracle EE Databases. • Ability and interest to learn new languages and technology stack. • Autonomous, rigorous and team spirit skills.
