Position: Software Engineer II (India) Type: Full-time position Compensation: $45K–$60K per year Location: India Commitment: Full-time Role Responsibilities • Ship production-ready code across backend services and frontend applications on a weekly basis. • Build and maintain Python- and Go-based microservices supporting real-time ranking, interview analytics, and payments. • Contribute to React and Next.js frontend features used to screen millions of candidates. • Design, test, and harden systems that power LLM-based agents. • Work closely with senior engineers to profile performance, improve reliability, and scale systems. • Translate user pain points into technical specifications and own features end-to-end. Requirements • Strong computer science fundamentals and hands-on project experience. • Experience with backend development in Python or Go. • Familiarity with frontend development using React or Next.js. • Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based systems. • Ability to iterate quickly, prototype solutions, and ship high-quality features. • Interest in large language models, retrieval systems, or ranking is a plus. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
