Job Title : Software Engineer (JavaScript, React JS) Engagement Details Job Type: Contract Location: Hyderabad Work Timings: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM IST (General Shift) Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred Experience Requirements Total Experience : 7 years Relevant Experience 7 years of experience in front-end or web application development (experience level can be adjusted as needed) Proven hands-on experience with and modern JavaScript frameworksInterview ProcessL1:Initial ScreeningL2:AI-Based AssessmentL3:Technical Interview Round 1L4:Technical Interview Round 2L5:Final RoundClientVirtusaRole OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript and modern front-end technologies to design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications.The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain user-facing features using Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical implementations Optimize components for maximum performance across browsers and devices Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and version control Technical Skills Must Have : Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript Object Model Thorough understanding of and its core principles Experience with popular workflows such as Flux or Redux Familiarity with RESTful APIs Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JWT (JSON Web Token) and SSO Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools Hands-on experience with Babel, Webpack, NPM, or similar tools Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GitHub Nice To Have Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools Exposure to responsive design and cross-browser compatibility Knowledge of modern UI/UX best practices Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Strong understanding of front-end architecture and best practices Soft Skills & Competencies Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration abilities Attention to detail with a focus on code quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team
