Description Position Summary : We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer - .NET with strong hands-on experience in backend development and problem-solving. The ideal candidate should have practical expertise in building APIs, working with databases, and writing clean, efficient code. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET • Build and consume RESTful Web APIs following OOP best practices • Write optimized SQL queries and ensure database performance • Apply strong logical reasoning to analyze and solve technical problems • Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions Required Technical Skills • 1-3 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and Web API • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts • Strong SQL fundamentals, including joins, subqueries, indexing, and query optimization • Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) (arrays, strings, searching, sorting, etc.) • Ability to independently solve basic to medium-complexity coding problems • Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills • Ability to clearly explain thought processes and technical approaches Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills • Experience with AWS or Azure • Exposure to Microservices architecture (ref:hirist.tech)
