Job Purpose The Sourcing Manager supports the procurement and product development teams in sourcing high-quality automotive accessories, decorative lighting, and electronic gadgets from domestic and international suppliers. The role involves supplier coordination, cost negotiation, and ensuring product quality and timely deliveries aligned with global standards. Key Responsibilities • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for car accessories, LED lighting, and consumer electronics. • Support in price negotiation, contract finalization, and supplier performance tracking. • Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) and Product Development teams to approve samples and manage inspections. • Analyze material costs, market trends, and supplier capacity to optimize sourcing strategy. • Manage production follow-up to ensure on-time shipments and adherence to specifications. • Prepare and maintain sourcing documentation – RFQs, vendor database, comparison sheets, and POs. • Coordinate with logistics partners for smooth shipping and customs clearance. • Assist in product compliance checks (CE, RoHS, FCC, UKCA, UL, etc.) and maintain audit-ready supplier records. • Identify innovative products and technologies relevant to the automotive and electronics market. • Ensure suppliers meet ethical and environmental standards (BSCI, SEDEX, ISO). Skills & Competencies • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and internal teams. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes for automotive and electronic products. • Familiar with international trade terms (Incoterms) and import/export documentation. • Data analysis and cost benchmarking skills. • Understanding of safety, certification, and labeling requirements for UK, EU, and US markets. Qualification & Experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, International Business, or Commerce. • 5 years of sourcing/procurement experience, ideally in automotive, lighting, or consumer electronics sectors. • Experience dealing with overseas suppliers (China, Vietnam, India) preferred. • Knowledge of compliance and testing standards (CE, UL, UKCA, FCC, RoHS). • Strong English communication skills; Mandarin or Vietnamese is an added advantage. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Cost reduction percentage per category. • On-time delivery rate of purchase orders. • Product quality compliance (defect rate < target). • Number of new reliable suppliers developed. • Contribution to new product development pipeline.
