Sourcing Manager – International Products & Imports

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced Sourcing Manager with mandatory hands-on import experience to identify new international products and manage the complete import lifecycle - from supplier sourcing to final delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. International Product Sourcing • Identify and onboard premium international products aligned with our brand • Focus on European markets for innovative building materials and interior solutions • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and exclusivity potential 2. Supplier & Vendor Management • Build strong relationships with global manufacturers • Negotiate contracts, pricing, MOQs, and payment terms • Ensure supplier reliability and consistency 3. Import & Compliance (Core Responsibility) • Handle end-to-end import operations independently • Manage documentation: invoice, packing list, bill of lading, COO, etc. • Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and shipping lines • Ensure compliance with Indian customs regulations, duties, and GST • Track shipments and resolve delays or clearance issues 4. Costing & Pricing • Calculate accurate landing costs (freight, duty, insurance, etc.) • Support pricing strategy for premium positioning 5. Market Development • Identify new product categories and growth opportunities • Stay updated on global design and construction trends Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable): • Proven experience in handling imports independently (5 years minimum) • Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, and import documentation • Experience coordinating with freight forwarders and customs agents • Ability to manage end-to-end import cycles without supervision Preferred Experience: • Background in tiles, building materials, furniture, or interior products • Experience sourcing from European markets • Experience in premium/luxury product segments.
