Job Description Summary In this role, you will be a part of the direct sourcing team which works with 80+ vendors across the globe. The role provides a vast exposure to multiple technical categories in the high voltage products that support Imaging business. The sourcing specialist will be a part of New Product Introduction team, and will drive supplier selection, prototype development with suppliers & Engineering team, finalize commercials with vendors, and ensure smooth ramp up plan. You will collaborate strongly with our order management, technical & quality teams to support regular sourcing activities and solving sourcing issues for the manufacturing site. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to generate ideas funnel, and drive cost reduction projects to deliver productivity to the business. You will develop a cost out roadmap to secure long-term competitiveness to the Imaging business segment. Roles and Responsibilities • Work with cross functional teams on site for driving sourcing activities for NPI (New Product Introduction) and supplier transfers, ensuring readiness to deliver targeted business requirements (quality, fulfillment, cost, and cash) per program milestones, in collaboration with supplier management, supply chain, and engineering teams. • Proactively de-risk supplier base, from identifying the risk to executing the mitigation plan, in partnership with the MICT business team. • Drive product cost reduction projects through supplier negotiation and design change ideas, partnering with engineering and manufacturing with a total cost mindset and support logistic cost out initiative. • Support supplier quality, ensuring supplier compliance with FDA, EHS, transportation and other regulatory and reputation. Required Qualifications • Engineering/Supply Chain Graduate from an accredited university or college in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or related fields. • This role requires a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Direct sourcing, including supplier management, handling RFQs, developing parts with suppliers, conducting supplier visits, placing purchase orders, and ensuring on-time delivery. • Established project management skills. • Willingness to consistently work flexible hours to accommodate needs of global customers and colleagues.
