How You’ll Succeed (Responsibilities): • Ensure prompt and accurate resolution of client investigation requests, both straightforward and complex, to deliver high-quality service and mitigate potential loss to CIBC. • Receive, analyze, and investigate client requests through Client Connect, documenting corrective actions and resolutions. • Assist clients in resolving posting errors, missing items, and missing wallet deposits. • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring anomalies to identify sources of error and recommend solutions to prevent reoccurrence. • Handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally, escalating unresolved issues to the Manager, Investigations. • Liaise with business partners and support centers, including Retail Operations, INTRIA, and branch networks, to complete investigations and fulfill requests. Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience. Who You Are (Skills / Qualifications): • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered. • 3+ years of experience in banking operations, investigations, or client service. Proficiency in English (written and verbal). • Detailed knowledge of bank clearing procedures and currency operations processes. • Strong understanding of Commercial Banking and Corporate client products, services, and procedures. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills for handling sensitive situations. • Ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity under time constraints. High attention to detail and accuracy. • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
