Job Title : Specialist Programmer – Backend Experience : 6+ Years of Relevant Experience Employment Type : Full-Time (Permanent) Work Location : Bengaluru, Pune, Noida, Jaipur, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mohali, Kolkata About the Role We are seeking an experienced Specialist Programmer (Backend) to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures, with a proven ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java / Python / Scala Build enterprise-grade solutions using frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot / Django Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures Participate in system design and architectural reviews Apply strong object-oriented principles, design patterns, and best coding practices Solve complex business problems using efficient data structures and algorithms Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of applications Work with cloud platforms to deploy, manage, and optimize services Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including product, QA, DevOps, and architecture Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to organizational coding standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technology modernization efforts Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development Strong proficiency in Java or Python or Scala Extensive experience with Spring / Spring Boot / Django frameworks Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts Strong problem-solving abilities with in-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms Proven experience working with microservices and distributed systems Good understanding of system design for scalable and high-availability applications Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS / Azure / GCP) Strong experience with relational and / or NoSQL databases Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with integration patterns Proficiency with version control systems such as Git Good to Have Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) Exposure to Agile / Scrum development methodologies What We Offer Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and complex architectures Career growth through learning, certifications, and leadership opportunities Collaborative and inclusive work culture.
