What Impact You’ll Make The Sr Director -PMO & Initiatives for Power IT function is responsible for, but not limited to, driving a transformational strategy for Power IT. This will include defining and maintaining a roadmap to ensure a strategic end state for the Gas Power Digital Technology portfolio, defining tools and processes to manage program investment, ensure lean-agile project management methodologies, enable culture of driving productivity in IT development. In this role, you will work closely with all the CIOs supporting a diverse set of functional groups including, but not limited to, Product Line leadership, Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Services and Finance to achieve program excellence. This is an important position with a high degree of visibility and representation in terms of driving transformation to meet efficiency and business outcome targets. This role is a people leader role and will be required to influence and work horizontally across all teams and Functions. What you’ll do• Transformation: Operate as a transformational leader to lead, influence, and communicate the strategic vision and actions of Gas Power IT and Vernova DT across the CIOs. Develop a roadmap that aligns to a strategic end state for the GP DT portfolio of programs.• Budget: Responsible for managing overall GPIT >$40M annual program budget to ensure proper alignment to Gas Power strategic roadmap• Budget: Proactively drive GPIT SII/OP plan rhythm for our program spend. Ensure that GP DT is making proper investment decisions based on DCF, NPV, business benefits, etc• PMO: Work with CIOs to meet GPIT program requirements, overall budget and schedule. Partnering with the CIOs, drive quality and cost efficiencies with our suppliers & partners• PMO: Collaborate with CIOs and strategic partners to ensure we have tools and processes to enable >5% year over year productivity for costs of development.• VMO: Manage spend and purchasing processes, strategic vendor initiatives, and transformation of Power IT spend.• CIO Partnership: Address pain points for executing team by facilitating cross functional discussions and set tone on expectations, minimum standards, etc. for all of Power IT• Other: Drives process improvement across multiple connected organizations within Gas Power and Vernova Influence initiatives that cross teams to advocate and support for the greater Power IT organization What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications) • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is typically required, or equivalent experience/knowledge. • Significant experience in IT, with demonstrated leadership experience • Experience with enterprise applications, project management, and budget oversight.
