• *Job Title: Sr.Engineer/Asst Manager/Manager - Vendor Development** • *Role & responsibilities**: • *Vendor Identification & Development** • Identify and onboard new vendors for engineering components, raw materials, and services. • Conduct vendor capability assessments, audits, and technical evaluations. • Develop alternate sources to reduce dependency and mitigate supply risks. • Coordinate with ... design and production teams for vendor development of new parts. • Establish vendor evaluation criteria (quality, cost, delivery, compliance). • Monitor vendor performance through KPIs and scorecards. • Conduct periodic vendor reviews and implement improvement plans. • Maintain approved vendor list (AVL) and ensure regular update. Quality & Compliance • Ensure vendors comply with quality standards (ISO, industry standards, customer requirements). • Having sound knowledge on IATF quality standards added advantage. • Coordinate with QA/QC teams for vendor inspections and audits. • Address quality issues through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules. • Coordinate with planning, stores, and logistics teams. • Resolve supply disruptions and escalate critical issues. • *Documentation & Compliance** • Maintain vendor contracts, agreements, and documentation. • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance of vendors. • *Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** • Vendor on-time delivery (OTD %). • Supplier quality rejection rate (PPM). • Cost reduction / savings achieved. • Vendor development cycle time. • Number of alternate vendors developed. • Compliance audit scores. • *Qualification:** Diploma Mechanical / BTech Mechanical. • *Experience;** Candidate shall have between 7-12 years of experience. • *Job Location:** Medha Servo Drives Pvt Ltd., Jodimetla X Road, Ghatkesar Hyderabad. • *Preferred candidate profile** Having experience in any Engineering Industry, preferably Automobile industry.
