Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. QA Analyst with strong experience in ETL, API, and MDM testing to ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with data engineers, MDM developers, and business analysts to validate complex data flows, integrations, and system functionalities across cloud and on-prem environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL, API, and MDM components. • Perform data validation and reconciliation across staging, warehouse, and reporting layers. • Validate ETL workflows and transformations for data accuracy and completeness. • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms. • Test MDM processes such as data matching, merging, survivorship, hierarchy, and data governance workflows. • Work with development teams to identify, log, and track defects to resolution. • Automate regression and validation tests where feasible using testing frameworks or scripting. • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. • Ensure test documentation and evidence are well maintained for audits and release management. Required Skills & Experience: • 4–8 years of QA experience in data-centric projects. • Hands-on experience with ETL testing (Informatica, IICS, or similar). • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent). • Experience in MDM testing (Informatica MDM or MDM SaaS preferred). • Solid understanding of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting. • Familiarity with data integration tools, cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP). • Knowledge of data governance and data quality testing concepts. • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Good to Have: • Exposure to Cloud Data Integration (CDI) or Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) testing. • Experience with automation frameworks for data validation. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins).
