About the job

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development · Achieve state sales targets for solar inverters (string, hybrid, micro, central, etc.) and related solar solutions. · Identify and appoint new channel partners, dealers, and EPC clients within the state. · Develop sales strategies aligned with company objectives to increase market share. · Generate new business opportunities across C&I, residential, and utility segments. · Conduct regular follow-ups with key accounts and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers. Market Expansion & Intelligence · Conduct detailed market analysis to identify potential customers, competitors, and pricing trends. · Gather competitor intelligence and provide feedback for product positioning and strategy adjustments. · Recommend new territories, product improvements, and pricing strategies based on market insights. Team Leadership & Coordination · Lead, mentor, and motivate Area Sales Executives / Officers within the state. · Conduct weekly/monthly performance reviews and develop team capability. · Coordinate with internal departments (Service, Logistics, Finance, and Marketing) for smooth operations. Customer Relationship Management · Ensure superior customer experience through timely delivery, installation support, and after-sales service coordination. · Address customer issues promptly and escalate unresolved concerns appropriately. · Conduct periodic customer satisfaction surveys. Reporting & Analysis · Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards. · Track and analyze sales data, pipeline status, and conversion ratios. · Provide MIS inputs for management review meetings. Qualifications & Experience: • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering. MBA in Marketing preferred. • Experience: 10–12 years in sales, preferably in solar inverter / solar EPC / renewable energy / electrical equipment industry. • Strong understanding of Sales & Business Development of solar inverters, [Ongrid, Hybrid & BESS]. (C&I, Utility-scale). • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of inverter technology, solar plant configurations, and basic electrical concepts.
