Hiring for one of the Big 4's in Mumbai About the Role – Statutory Audit (FS Sector) Specialism: Audit & Assurance Level: Associate / Senior Associate Location: Mumbai About the Audit & Assurance (Financial Service Practice) • Statutory Audits of Banks, NBFCs, and other FS entities • IND AS / IFRS reporting • Regulatory and RBI reporting requirements • Audit of complex financial instruments • Risk assessment and audit planning • Quality reviews and compliance with professional standards Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage Statutory Audit engagements for Financial Services clients. • Plan, execute, and review audit procedures in line with the auditing standard. • Assess key risks, internal controls, and financial reporting processes • Review financial statements and ensure compliance with IND AS / IFRS and regulatory requirements • Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders • Guide, coach, and review work performed by team members • Ensure timely delivery, audit quality, and adherence to PwC methodologies • Support practice development, audits of complex areas, and governance initiatives Technical Skills Required • Statutory Audit experience in the Financial Services sector • Strong knowledge of IND AS / IFRS and auditing standards • Understanding of RBI / regulatory guidelines applicable to FS entities • Experience in auditing complex financial instruments and estimates • Risk assessment, audit planning, and control evaluation • Proficiency in MS Office and audit tools Soft Skills • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Leadership and people management capabilities • Analytical mindset and professional judgment • High ownership, accountability, and execution focus • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines Mandatory Skills: Statutory Audit Experience Required: 5–7 Years Education: Qualified CA Location: India
