Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Market Analysis**: - Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the industry. - Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and economic indicators to provide strategic insights. - Develop market intelligence reports and present findings to senior management. - **Supplier Evaluation**: - Assess and monitor the financial health, performance, and capabilities of suppliers. - Utilize tools like Rapid Ratings and D&B SER Ratings to evaluate supplier risk. - Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with company standards. - **Data Analysis and Reporting**: - Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to market and supplier performance. - Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators. - Provide regular reports and presentations to business and supply chain leadership team. - **Strategic Sourcing Support**: - Collaborate with category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies based on market and supplier intelligence. - Support supplier negotiation and contract management processes with data-driven insights. - Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Over 7 years of Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Market Analysis experience. - Deep understanding within commodities, economics, and procurement. - Strong commercial and analytical skills. - Well connected with external commodity and economic market data providers. - Advanced knowledge of Office products. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
