Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Optimization Analyst to join their growing team in Kolkata, West Bengal, IN . This hybrid role offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to contribute to improving our logistical operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative aptitude and a deep understanding of supply chain principles to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement strategic changes that enhance our operational performance. Responsibilities: Analyze current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment. Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand, predict potential disruptions, and mitigate risks within the supply chain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain strategies. Design and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and report findings to management. Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance supply chain operations. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain improvements and present findings to stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Participate in the development and implementation of supply chain software solutions. Qualifications: Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related analytical field. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, or R. Experience with supply chain planning and optimization software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Kinaxis). Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, including forecasting, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
