Position Summary Level: Supply Chain Strategy Consultant/ Senior Consultant As an experienced practitioner at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. Work you’ll do: As a Consultant/ Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will: • Assess, develop, and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and asset utilization • Improve working capital through enhanced inventory, S&OP, and planning processes • Map and redesign supply chain processes using digital tools • Support distribution, transportation, and procurement optimization • Apply Six Sigma and agile methodologies for manufacturing and smart operations • Advise executives on digital supply network opportunities and strategy • Perform quantitative analysis, research, and deliver actionable insights • Collaborate with clients and teams to develop tailored deliverables and facilitate project management Qualifications: Must have Skills: • Broad functional experience across supply chain domains, including planning, sourcing and procurement, manufacturing operations, and logistics/distribution • Hands-on roles such as Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain Engineer, Production Planner or Scheduler, Product Designer, or Procurement Analyst • Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude, with the ability to analyze complex supply chain challenges and develop effective solutions • Strong academic background in relevant disciplines (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields) • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively, positively influencing peers and stakeholders • Confident leadership and influencing style, able to make an immediate impact with client stakeholders • Experience collaborating across teams and functions to drive project success • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions and internal collaboration • Commitment to personal development, actively seeking opportunities for growth and sharing knowledge with others • Good business awareness, understanding how supply chain delivery impacts overall business performance • Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities • Experience in at least one major industry sector, such as Automotive, Industrial Products, Consumer Products, Oil & Gas, or e-Commerce • Willingness to travel for client engagements and work in fast-paced project settings Good to Have Skills: • Exposure to next-gen supply chain methods, such as demand-driven supply chain, concurrent planning, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, digital procurement, digital networks • Experience with digital transformation initiatives or advanced supply chain technologies • Prior involvement in cross-industry projects or consulting engagements • Advanced certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, APICS, Lean, PMP) • Experience in business development, proposal writing, or client pitches • Familiarity with emerging trends in supply chain digitization and ecosystem partnerships Education: • MBA, MS, or PhD from a leading school in India or abroad.
