The Supply Chain Support Team is responsible for assisting the Planning organization across various regions, with a primary focus on supporting day-to-day planning operations. The team works closely with planners & warehouse to manage technical and administrative tasks, enabling smoother execution of supply chain activities. By streamlining communication, improving data accuracy, and enhancing responsiveness, the team plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency and ensuring timely product availability. Roles & Responsibility: • Coordinate inbound transportation by scheduling and aligning with carriers and suppliers in accordance with MRP and Purchasing requirements, while ensuring compliance with GLOG routing guides and maintaining cost-efficient transportation solutions. • Ensure adherence to TE policies, particularly premium freight policy, and verify that selected freight forwarders align with GLOG routing guidelines and all systems are properly configured. • Track & Trace and update internal stakeholders on shipment status, and resolve transportation issues including delays, customs clearance problems, and carrier performance challenges. • Monitor and control freight costs through budget tracking, cost analysis, and drive monthly Site Level Freight Forecast Reviews with local plant controlling and logistics teams. • Maintain accurate and current transport data in ERP/TMS systems to support operational visibility, compliance, and decision-making. • Drive process optimization and standardization initiatives across inbound logistics operations to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse/Logistics, Customs departments, and external suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations and effective stakeholder communication. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Business Administration. • 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations and production, preferably within a manufacturing or product-based company.
