Swift Developer + Specialist

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Swift Developer + Specialist at Deelo. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable iOS applications along with backend services using Daily responsibilities include building new features, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, implementing real-time functionality, managing application logic, and ensuring overall system reliability. You will work closely with the core product and backend team to develop secure, high-performance applications that support booking systems, job lifecycle management, real-time tracking, payments, and notification services. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift / SwiftUI - Design and maintain backend services using - Build and integrate RESTful / GraphQL APIs - Implement real-time features and push notifications - Optimize application performance and scalability - Debug, test, and improve code quality - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features - Ensure security, data integrity, and backend efficiency Qualifications - Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS development - Solid experience in backend development - Experience with API integration (REST / GraphQL preferred) - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles - Good knowledge of databases (MongoDB preferred) - Familiarity with AWS or cloud deployment is a plus - Experience with real-time systems, sockets, or subscription-based architecture is a plus - Proven ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred) Preferred Skills (Bonus) - Experience with Apollo GraphQL - Payment gateway integrations - Deep linking and notification architecture - App Store deployment experience - Startup experience
