Job Description As a System Engineer for M365 Support, the candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Microsoft 365 infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of services such as Exchange, Mail Flow, App Registration, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR), and security/compliance features. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to resolving issues, improving system performance, and supporting a secure and compliant M365 environment. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day technical support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Mail Flow, Email gateway (Proofpoint, Zix), App Registration, SSO, MFA, and SSPR. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email, user authentication, and access controls across the M365 platform. Configure, maintain, and optimize security and compliance settings within M365, ensuring systems meet organizational security policies. Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for secure access. Monitor the health of M365 services, ensuring high availability and performance. Assist with user access and permissions management in M365 apps and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain best practices for M365 services. Perform regular system health checks, audits, and troubleshooting for ongoing performance optimization. Ensure compliance with internal security and privacy policies, including governance of data protection measures. Document troubleshooting processes, solutions, and system configurations. Participate in on-call rotation and be available for after-hours support as needed.
