The Role: Talent Acquisition & HR Ops Manager As our Talent Acquisition & HR Ops Manager, you will be the engine driving Arkahub’s growth and operational compliance. This demanding, hands-on role requires a dedicated professional to execute end-to-end recruitment across all platforms and meticulously manage the core HR operations —including payroll processing, statutory compliance, and policy administration—critical for a rapidly scaling startup. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities) 1. Talent Acquisition (70% Focus) • Full-Cycle Recruitment Execution: Directly manage and execute the end-to-end hiring process for all roles (Tech, Sales, Ops, etc.) by actively sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates across various platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, internal referrals, etc.). • Candidate Management: Maintain a high-quality candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance, ensuring timely and clear communication. • Hiring Manager Support: Work closely with department heads to understand immediate hiring requirements, align on candidate profiles, and expedite interview feedback loops. • Recruitment Administration: Manage all documentation related to recruitment, maintain accurate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and track key metrics like Time-to-Fill. 2. HR Operations & Compliance (30% Focus) • Payroll & Attendance: Oversee and coordinate the monthly payroll inputs, processing, and disbursement, working closely with external payroll vendors. Manage employee attendance and leave records accurately. • Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with all relevant labor laws and statutory regulations in India (e.G., PF, ESIC, professional tax). Handle necessary documentation and timely filings. • Policy & Administration: Implement, communicate, and enforce established HR policies and procedures (e.G., travel, expense, code of conduct). Manage new employee onboarding and exit processes efficiently. • Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies. What You Will Bring (Required Skills & Experience) • Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on HR experience, with strong demonstrated success in volume/specialized recruitment and practical experience in HR Operations (Payroll, Compliance) within the Indian Startup or high-growth Tech ecosystem. • Operational Expertise: Direct experience managing or coordinating the monthly payroll cycle and ensuring statutory compliance is mandatory. • Recruitment Drive: Proven ability to manage a high volume of open requisitions simultaneously and close positions quickly using various sourcing channels. • Execution Focus: A detail-oriented, hands-on, and resourceful attitude; comfortable managing administrative load and compliance mandates independently. • Communication: Clear, professional communication skills necessary for policy explanation, candidate engagement, and managing external vendor relationships.
