Role Description We are looking for a heavy-hitter with 6+ years of experience to lead our engineering efforts. You’ll be the bridge between complex business requirements and high-performance, scalable code. As a Team Lead, you won't just be 'doing the work'—you'll be setting the standards for how the work is done. Key Responsibilities • Architectural Leadership: Design and maintain scalable full-stack applications using the MEAN/MERN stack. • Database Mastery: Take ownership of MongoDB schema design, indexing strategies, and complex aggregation pipelines to ensure high-speed data retrieval. • Mentorship: Lead a team of developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and fostering a culture of best practices. • Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in Node.js event loops and optimize slow-running database queries. • Full-Cycle Ownership: Drive features from initial concept through deployment, ensuring seamless integration between the frontend and backend. Technical Requirements • Node.js (Expert): Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, Event Loop, and building robust RESTful or GraphQL APIs. • MongoDB (Must-Have): Advanced knowledge of aggregation frameworks, compound indexing, and document modeling (not just CRUD). • Frontend Mastery: 4+ years of professional experience with React.js or Angular or AngularJS • System Design: Proven ability to design microservices or modular monoliths that handle high traffic. • Testing & CI/CD: Proficiency with Jest/Mocha/Chai and setting up automated deployment pipelines. The 'Soft' Stuff Pragmatism: You know how to build it 'perfectly' and how to build it 'right now.' Communication: You can explain a complex technical issue to business analysts and testing team.
