About the job

The Team Lead – Logistics sales is responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and managing key customer relationships in the logistics and supply chain domain. The role involves strategic planning, team management, and achieving sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets • Develop and execute sales strategies for logistics services • Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships • Manage key accounts and ensure timely closure of deals • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements • Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams for smooth execution • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance reviews • Ensure compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance evaluations • Support management in achieving overall business growth objectives Required Skills & Competencies • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities • In-depth knowledge of logistics, freight, and supply chain operations • Target-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to build long-term client relationships • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field • MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage Experience • 3–5 years of experience in logistics sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Revenue growth and target achievement • New client acquisition • Team performance and productivity
