Experience: 12–15 years Role Summary The Tech Delivery Manager will be responsible for end-to-end offshore delivery ownership of data & analytics projects including data pipelines, data governance, dashboards and the testing of the same. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with delivery governance, team management, and coordination with onsite delivery leadership., ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. Key Responsibilities • Own end to end offshore delivery for Data Engineering & Analytics workstreams and ensure on-time, high-quality execution. • Act as Technical SME and Tech Lead for Azure, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and ETL. • Manage multiple concurrent projects in offshore, conduct daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and technical reviews. • Coordinate with onsite Project Manager and support overall project delivery. • Provide architectural guidance and troubleshoot complex technical issues. • Remain hands-on for critical PySpark, SQL, ETL, and Databricks development. • Enforce delivery governance, quality standards, and risk mitigation. • Define delivery plans, milestones, resourcing and risk mitigation strategies along with the onsite project manager. • Align and manage dependencies across multiple teams within the project. • Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards. Technical Skills • Azure Data Platform (ADF, ADLS, Synapse) • Databricks Lakehouse Architecture and Development • PySpark (advanced transformations and optimization) • Strong SQL (complex queries and tuning) • ETL / ELT design and data warehousing concepts • CI/CD, Git, performance tuning Delivery & Leadership Skills • Offshore delivery management • Agile/Scrum execution • Stakeholder communication • Risk and dependency management • Team mentoring and capability building Stakeholder & Client Management • Act as the primary offshore point of contact for onshore delivery managers and clients • Provide regular status updates, risk reports, and escalation management • Translate business requirements into technical delivery plans • Support client demos, UAT cycles, and production releases Team Leadership & Governance • Lead and mentor offshore teams (data engineers, BI developers, testers) • Manage team capacity planning, utilization, and performance • Drive best practices in documentation, code reviews, and DevOps • Support hiring, onboarding, and upskilling initiatives Must-Have Skills Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong experience delivering data projects in an offshore model • Hands-on understanding of Data warehousing and data pipelines, testing & QA Processes • Proven experience managing Agile/Scrum deliveries • Excellent stakeholder communication and escalation management • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Technical Stack (Good to Have) • BFSI domain experience • Data Platforms: Snowflake, Informatica IDMC, BigQuery • AI/ML or GenAI data pipelines • Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP • Testing: SQL-based validation, custom QA frameworks Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • PMP, SAFe, or Scrum Master certification (preferred) • Experience working with global enterprise clients • Prior experience in data modernization or cloud migration projects Key Outcomes & KPIs • ≥95% on-time delivery • ≥97% data quality <5% critical issues • ≥85% team utilization Contact: hr@bigtapp.ai
