Role: Technical Marketing Specialist Location: Faridabad / Raipur / Bangalore / Rajkot / Jamshedpur This is a full-time on-site role responsible for promoting and selling foundry consumables by providing technical application support to foundries, forging plants, and fabrication units, while achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development - Identify and develop new foundries, casting units, forging plants, and fabrication companies - Generate new business leads and convert them into long-term customers - Achieve monthly and annual sales targets - Expand regional market coverage and customer base 2. Technical Application Support - Visit customer plants to understand foundry operations and blasting processes - Recommend appropriate consumables and grades based on application - Provide technical guidance on: - Consumable consumption reduction - Blasting efficiency improvement - Process optimization - Conduct product trials and demonstrations at customer plants - Support customers in optimizing blasting and surface preparation processes 3. Customer Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, including: - Purchase Managers - Production Heads - Maintenance Engineers - Plant Managers - Responsibilities include: - Ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention - Resolving technical and operational queries - Building strategic partnerships with customers 4. Market Intelligence - Collect and report valuable market insights, including: - Competitor products and pricing - New foundry projects and expansions - Market demand trends - Customer consumption patterns - Submit periodic market intelligence reports to management. 5. Order Management & Coordination - Coordinate with production, logistics, and dispatch teams for timely deliveries - Monitor customer inventory levels and reorder cycles - Ensure smooth order execution and supply commitments 6. Complaint Handling & Technical Support - Investigate and resolve customer issues related to: - Product performance - Consumption levels - Quality concerns - Additional responsibilities: - Collect samples for technical analysis - Provide corrective recommendations and technical solutions 7. Commercial Follow-up - Follow up on quotations and order confirmations - Support commercial negotiations within company guidelines - Monitor customer payments and outstanding receivables 8. Reporting - Prepare and submit regular reports including: - Weekly visit reports - Sales pipeline reports - Product trial reports - Customer feedback and competitor updates.
