Role Overview: You will be responsible for sourcing and vendor management, technical evaluation, negotiation & contracting, operational support, and procurement process in order to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of technical components, hardware, or software. **Key Responsibilities:** - Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers for technical components, hardware, or software. - Technical Evaluation: Review engineering specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements. - Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost-effective, timely delivery. - Operational Support: Coordinate with engineering and production teams to forecast needs, manage inventory, and resolve supply issues. - Procurement Process: Manage the full purchasing cycle, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), bids, tenders, and Purchase Orders (POs). **Qualifications:** - Education: Degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related technical field. - Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry-specific materials, equipment, or technologies. - Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. - Software: Proficiency in systems and, frequently, advanced Excel.
