Technical Product Manager

Role Overview This is a hands-on, technical product role for someone who can own product strategy end-to-end — from roadmap creation and competitive analysis to security research, demos, documentation, and public product storytelling. You will work deeply with engineering and security teams while also representing the product externally at conferences, customer demos, and technical forums. Key Responsibilities • Product Strategy & Roadmap • Own and drive the product roadmap aligned with company strategy and customer needs • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear product requirements and milestones • Balance short-term execution with long-term platform vision • Security Research & Market Intelligence • Conduct ongoing security research related to AI agents, infrastructure security, and emerging threats • Perform competitive analysis across AI security, developer tooling, and adjacent platforms • Track industry trends and translate insights into product differentiation • Technical Collaboration • Work closely with engineering teams to define features, APIs, and platform capabilities • Review technical designs and provide product input on trade-offs and feasibility • Leverage prior development experience to communicate effectively with engineers • Product Evangelism & External Representation • Deliver product demos at conferences, events, and customer meetings • Act as a technical spokesperson for HighFlame AI’s platform • Gather feedback from the community and feed insights back into product development • Content & Thought Leadership • Write technical blogs, product documentation, and launch content • Clearly articulate product value, architecture, and use cases to a technical audience • Collaborate with marketing and developer relations to shape product messaging • UI/UX Quality & Product Polish • Partner with design and engineering to ensure the UI is intuitive, clean, and production-ready • Advocate for excellent developer and user experience • Ensure product workflows align with real-world customer use cases Required Background & Experience • Prior experience as a software engineer with a clear transition into Product Management (Ideal) • Strong ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and backend services • Proven experience creating and owning technical product roadmaps • Comfortable reading and discussing code (hands-on coding not required) • Experience working closely with security, infrastructure, or AI-related systems Culture Fit Strong alignment with HighFlame AI values: • Clear and confident communication • Transparency and ownership • Detail-oriented, structured execution • Curiosity-driven research mindset.
