We’re seeking a trainer, mentor and coach for the role of Technical Program Manager to educate and support our recruits as they gain the skills to join top-tier enterprises for long and rewarding careers. Responsibilities Include... Engineering Management & Leadership Directly lead, coach, and manage multiple software engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. • Serve as the first-line manager, managing team schedules and performance. • Define high engineering standards, best practices, architecture, and design patterns for team adherence and quality assurance. • Provide in-depth technical feedback on tech stacks, integration, and design patterns to accelerate candidate development without contributing code to the codebase. Capstone Project Ownership (Technical Product Management) Act as the Technical Product Owner, defining the Capstone Project vision, strategy, and technical objectives. • Translate program requirements and learning objectives into detailed user stories, prioritize features, and define technical and non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability). • Drive end-to-end delivery, identify technical tradeoffs, eliminate blocking issues, and manage execution across cross-functional teams. Consultant Recruitment & Delivery Conduct high-validity technical screening interviews and in-depth evaluations to assess candidate proficiency and potential throughout the training lifecycle. • Facilitate and manage the end-to-end Consultant delivery process, ensuring quality preparation and efficient workflow. • Participate in special projects/tasks as assigned. Basic Qualifications • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field. • 5+ years of professional technical experience. • 2+ years of (people) management experience. • 2+ years of experience managing multi-functional full-stack engineering teams, including overseeing technical mentorship and providing performance feedback. • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence across job levels. • Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), methodologies, and best practices, particularly Agile principles.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science
- 5+ years of professional technical experience
- 2+ years of (people) management experience
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
