About the Role Urban Company is looking for a technically skilled and passionate Trainer to lead the training function for the Large Appliances category, focusing on: - TV The Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering structured learning programs that equip service partners with the skills, knowledge, and service standards required to deliver a high-quality home repair experience. This is a high-impact role requiring: - Deep technical expertise - Strong training and content design ability - A continuous improvement mindset Key Responsibilities 1. Training Design & Content Development - Develop practical training programs for repairing and servicing large appliances. - Create easy-to-understand materials such as manuals, step-by-step guides, and videos. - Continuously update content to reflect new appliance models and technologies. 2. Training Delivery & Partner Enablement - Conduct hands-on training sessions at training centers and in the field. - Ensure all partners meet required skill standards before taking customer jobs. - Run regular refresher sessions to address common issues and improve performance. 3. Training Operations & Scheduling - Plan and manage daily training schedules efficiently. - Maintain training infrastructure, including tools, demo appliances, and spare parts. - Track attendance, assessments, and training completion records. 4. Quality Assessment & Performance Monitoring - Evaluate partner performance to ensure training effectiveness. - Monitor metrics such as customer ratings and repeat complaints. - Provide retraining and support to underperforming partners. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Alignment - Work closely with business and operations teams to identify training needs. - Share regular updates on training progress and skill gaps. - Provide feedback to improve service quality across the network. What We're Looking For - B.Tech, Diploma, or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field - OR equivalent hands-on experience in appliance repair or facilities management - 5+ years of experience in servicing, repair, or training of large appliances - (Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Microwaves) - Experience with leading brands such as Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Godrej, IFB, or Bosch preferred - Prior experience in training, quality control, or technical mentorship is a plus - Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repair techniques, and spare parts management - Excellent communication and ability to simplify technical concepts - Strong planning and organizational skills - Familiarity with MS Office, Google Sheets, LMS platforms, and MIS reporting - High ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
