Role Overview We are looking for a UI Developer with 3–5 years of experience building responsive, high-performance web applications. Experience in financial services, insurance, or mutual funds is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: • UI Development: • Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React / Angular). • Convert UX/UI designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable components. • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization. • Collaboration & Delivery: • Work closely with backend developers, QA, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end. • Participate in code reviews, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups. • Contribute to UI architecture, component library, and best practices. • Quality & Performance: • Implement and maintain unit tests for UI components. • Optimize front-end performance (bundle sizes, lazy loading, caching, etc.). • Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and secure coding practices. • DevOps & Cloud (AWS / GCP): • Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams on build and deployment pipelines for UI applications. • Configure and debug deployments on AWS and/or GCP environments. • Monitor application health using logging and APM tools; help troubleshoot production issues related to UI. • Domain-Specific (Finance / Insurance / Mutual Funds) – Plus: • Understand common user journeys in BFSI: onboarding, KYC, portfolio views, transactions, policies, and statements. • Build UIs that handle complex data (NAVs, portfolios, policies, plans) in a clear, intuitive way. • Work with stakeholders to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are reflected in the UI. Must-Have Skills & Experience: • Experience: • 3–5 years of professional experience as a UI Developer / Frontend Engineer. • Experience delivering at least 1–2 mid to large scale web applications to production. • Technical Skills (UI): • Strong in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). • Hands-on experience with at least one major frontend framework: React / Angular. • Experience with state management (Redux, NgRx, Context API etc.). • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON. • DevOps & Cloud: • Exposure to DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and automated deployments. • Experience with one or more tools: GitLab CI / GitHub Actions / Jenkins / Azure DevOps. • Working experience on AWS and/or GCP for: Deploying and hosting front-end applications. • Tools & Practices: • Proficient with Git and branching workflows. • Experience with package managers and build tools (npm/yarn, Webpack, Vite, etc.). • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). • Soft Skills: • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. • Attention to detail and a strong focus on user experience. • Ownership mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Good-to-Have / Plus: • Prior experience in BFSI (banking, financial services, insurance, mutual funds, wealth management). • Experience building dashboards, charts, and data-heavy UI. • Knowledge of security and compliance considerations in financial applications. • Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes basics). • Monitoring/logging tools used in cloud (CloudWatch, Stackdriver). • UI/UX sensibility and collaboration with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Education: • B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • Other degrees with strong, demonstrable frontend experience are also welcome.
