We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Unit People Business Partner to join our team at our factory in Chikkaballapura, Karnataka, India. As the Unit People Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our factory operations and ensuring the development and implementation of effective people strategies. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: • Source, screen, conduct interviews and hire candidates as per the requirement from the business. Salary negotiations and offer. • Carry out required system processes from hiring and offer in Talent XP, Success factors and such other as per requirement • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure hiring • Ensure onboarding of new candidates with relevant processes like BGV, Medical check, onboarding documentation etc. • Ensure joining of the new candidate as per the agreed DOJ. Ensure necessary follow-up and coordination • Ensure availability of necessary joining kit and assets. • Share requirements for COE hirings wherever necessary Business Partnering: Employee Relations: • Manage connect with the employees and manage any escalations / grievances raised by the employees appropriately as per the guidelines • Undertake investigations for allegations raised such as harassment, fraud, etc. as per the principles of natural justice and prepare report on the findings and conclusions • Undertake disciplinary actions in consultation with senior stakeholders and implement the same as per the prescribed guidelines • Review the employee engagement score and assist the function heads in action planning basis the employee engagement scores • Provide inputs in the assessment of the reward nominations based on the business impact for the decision on the award • Undertake employee exit conversations if required to retain employee / understand the cause of exit and recommend appropriate actions in case of any relevant findings • Undertake unit specific employee engagement initiatives in liaison with the team and oversee the programme management of the same • Ensure the R&R policy is adhered to as per the guidelines and the employees are rewarded for defined parameters • Ensure that all the welfare activities are adhered to as per the plan and manage any escalations as required Business Partnering: Contact Labour Management: • Provide the contract manpower requirements to the contractor / agency based on the requirements gathered from the business • Evaluate the candidates sourced by the contract and select the candidates that fit the requirements • Undertake the onboarding of the contract employees to the plant to get acquainted with the role and the firm Performance Management: • Ensure goal setting of employees & new joiners as per the timeline • Support and coordinate for goal labs • Support the PIP goal setting, ensure timelines, review and closure • Conduct goal audits and ensure adherence to SMART goal alignment • Ensure adherence to performance review timelines as guided by the COE team • Coordinate with function and subfunction to adherence of appraisal closure with individuals and managers well in time • Support in calibration of performance Employee Connects: • Ensure regular connect with employees such as one-on-one connects with shopfloor, regional visits and connects in Kolkata & CFL Locations with employees • Coordinate for Interface and skip level connects • Ensure tracking of points, grievance or suggestion from employee connects • Ensure closure of connect points as per the agreed timelines Statutory Compliance Management: • Ensure compliance to applicable legislations of manufacturing location and shops and establishments • Should have good knowledge of applicable legislations for the above compliance • Ensure physical maintenance of compliance documents of records, registers and legal documents • Ensure compliance to I-Assure portal within the due dates • Manage the welfare provision as per Factories Act If you are a highly motivated and experienced HR professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic and growing company, we encourage you to apply for the Unit People Business Partner position at Titan.
